Dr. Colin Huska, ND
Dr. Huska completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Thompson River University (Kamloops, BC) with a major in General Biology. Upon completion, he enrolled in the accredited, four-year, full-time naturopathic medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario, where he successfully earned his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine credentials. Dr. Huska then undertook an optional, two year residency program at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, where he assumed a teaching, research and supervisory role within the CCNM community.

The residency also afforded him the opportunity to supervise and mentor fourth year interns in a variety of clinical settings, including: The Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Anishnawbe Health Centre, Parkdale Medical Centre, and Sherbourne Health Centre (a clinic specializing in the treatment of individuals with HIV/AIDS).

Dr. Huska was a guest lecturer and small group coordinator of the Be Your Best Self program at CCNM, encouraging and supporting healthy life choices. While completing his residency, Dr. Huska concurrently established a part-time naturopathic medical practice in North York, Ontario.

More recently, Dr. Huska has relocated to Halifax, NS where
he provided maternity coverage for the attending naturopathic
doctor at Stillpoint Naturopathic Clinic. In addition, Dr. Huska
lectures at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Halifax,
NS, were he speaks on a variety of topics including: sports
nutrition, pediatric nutrition, preventative nutrition, and
vaccination issues. He has also been very active within
the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors
(NSAND) serving on the government affairs committee.

Dr. Huska holds a naturopathic medical license from the
province of Ontario allowing him to practice in Nova Scotia.
He is also a member of the Nova Scotia Association of
Naturopathic Doctors (NSAND) and the Canadian
Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
