Naturopathic treatments may vary from individual to individual, depending on their circumstance. It is our commitment to provide comprehensive care in a supportive and non-judgmental manner. The initial visit is up to an hour and a half in length, during which time a thorough and holistic case history is collected. An individualized treatment plan is then developed utilizing our core modalities. These may include:
• Nutritional Counseling (diet modification and vitamin supplementation)
• Botanical medicine
• Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine
• Physical Therapies (manipulation and soft tissue)
• Homeopathic Medicine
• Lifestyle Counseling
Subsequent visits are up to forty five minutes long and allow us to monitor your progress, making changes or adjustments to the treatment plan as required.
Those who visit naturopathic doctors come for many reasons. Some of the more common include: fatigue, stress, digestive disturbance, chronic pain (arthritis), cancer, diabetes, heart/cardiovascular concerns, anxiety/depression, hormonal disturbance, skin health and allergies. Many people come without a specific diagnosis, but know they “just don’t feel right”. Whatever the case may be, we are committed to working with you towards a better sense of well-being.
Some individuals are concerned that naturopathic treatments will hinder
or alter other treatments they are receiving. This is not the case. It is
our goal at Sage Elements Naturopathic Clinic to work in a
complementary and cooperative manner with other health
care professionals to provide integrative care
for our patients.
